With ACEweb version .72, staff can send emergency emails to registrants in classes meeting on a specified date.
For this example, we sent an emergency email for classes meeting on February 2. The inset is an example of the email the student receives.
The feature has a text file with a default message built for you. You can modify the message and subject line before sending, if desired.

With the Holidays behind us, we're diving into the new year with payments as our next milestone!
Brandon has been diligently working with Braintree, which will be our first payment gateway option.
This robust platform will allow you to accept many different payment types, from PayPal balances, credit cards, and even other options through PayPal like debit cards and bank accounts!
Gone are the days of AW-Pending payments and the, "fire and forget," system of sending off the transaction to the gateway and hoping to hear back. Payments in the cloud environment are immediately authorized (or declined). This space-age smart tech will automatically determine that, if a CC payment is not eligible to be voided, it will allow you to refund to the student without having any extra steps as with redirect payment gateways!

Student Manager
Student Manager 8.0.118, released January 11, 2023:
- We've added a Gift Card optional module to sell and use Gift Cards.
- We added the Staff dropdown to the Email Instructor Roster and Name Quick Email areas so you can send a copy to a staff member.
- We fixed a few bugs and routines.
ACEweb
ACEweb 3.5.072/4.0.072, will be released by January 31, 2023:
- We've released a new Responsive Web Design Template Set.
- Staff can send Emergency Emails.
- We added support for the new Gift Card optional module.
- We added several enhancements to the Quick Pick module.
- We fixed a few bugs.

Happy New Year, everyone!
With the start of the new year, we have seen and heard that there are many new faces in your offices. If you have new staff members that need to get up to speed (or if you need a refresher for yourself), we have plenty of resources to help you along the way! Most of these resources can be accessed via our website: www.aceware.com.
Webinar Archives – Is there a recent webinar that you couldn’t attend? Our webinar archive has a tab for our most recent webinars, so you can still get the information! In addition, there are tabs for specific roles, including Keepers of the Flame, a SM 101 for new users, marketing and registration staff, and more. If there is a slide deck available for the webinar, that is also available in the archive.

Online Help Guide – You can access this via our webpage, through the Help > Help Menu selection in Student manager or by clicking the Help button on the toolbar in Student Manager.

This knowledgebase is filled with so much information! Do you need to know the name of a field for a report? You can find that in the Student Manager Screen Layout Section. Do you want to modify a report? That information can be found in Student Manager Topics > Reporting > Modifying Reports.
ACEware Forums – Our Forums are the best way to get information on updates. You can see a detailed list of items that were added and fixed for each update, and there are separate threads for Student Manager, ACEweb, SQL, and QuickPick. If you create an account, you can subscribe to the threads that you would like to be notified about.
ACEware Newsletter Archive – You can review previous monthly newsletters, which include a Tip of the Month and a Report of the Month. You can also send new staff members to this page to sign up for the newsletter, so they get all the new information sent directly to them.

Invoice Summary with Totals

Happy New Year!
Hopefully 2023 is off to a great start for each of you. And what better way to start off the year than by catching up with the folks who still owe you money from last year?
If you’re looking for something easy, I’ve created a report titled Invoice Summary with Totals. It’s run under Reports >> Invoices >> Aging Report, and it gives you a summary that includes invoice number, firm/payer, number of registrations associated with the invoice, due, paid, and balance. You’ll also get a total at the end of the report.
