Zoom fatigue (it's a very real thing!) and limited travel budgets in your institution or organization have encouraged ACEware to return to a regional meeting format in 2023. We will travel closer to you, making meetings more accessible and affordable.

A huge thank you to our customers who agreed to host these meetings and welcome you all to their campus!

Regional Meetings will be held:

• April 25-26, 2023 at University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

• May 9-10, 2023 at Clayton State University (CSU) in Morrow, Georgia.

• May 23-24, 2023 at Lehigh Career and Technical Center (LCTI) in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania.

Student Manager version 8.0.120 provides some enhancements for Billing Type payments.

• *A New Assign Invoice Num button will immediately assign an invoice number to the Billing Payment.

• A new Print/Email Invoice button will run the selected Invoice report (Module > Invoices > Run Invoices list) then ask if you would like to email the invoice (PDF) to the email listed on the payment record.

• *Payment Plans - A new Assign Invoice # for Payment Plans preference, on Edit > Preferences > Pay tab, will automatically assign invoice numbers to the payments when the Payment Plan is created.

*These are especially useful if using the ACEweb Invoice Status option which requires an assigned invoice number for the user to pay the invoice via ACEweb.

We're working on some exciting new features for the ACEware Cloud product!

Brandon created an awesome tool to use in our testing and development to simulate *very* heavily populated databases, which allows us to benchmark performance under loads.

We put some finishing touches on Hybrid course types, and have made the decision to impose course maximums on a fee by fee basis, allowing for much more control of limiting the who and how many!

We're also working on account numbers, which can be tied to the course (Default) or on a fee basis. In the works we have started deploying our first job server, which will handle the queuing and execution of various tasks, such as automated emails.

We're working with a DevOps engineer who is focusing on creating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, allowing us to quickly make changes or upgrades. He'll also be keeping us secure and scalable by moving the API to an Amazon ECS cluster!

Stay tuned for some of our first looks at reporting in the near future!

Student Manager 8.0.120, will be released March 7, 2023:

• Add an Assign Invoice Num button to assign an invoice number to the Billing Payment.
• Added a Print/Email Invoice button to create an Invoice (PDF) then email it to the email listed on the payment record.
• Added an Assign Invoice # for Payment Plans preference to assign invoice numbers when the Payment Plan is created.
• Increased the Course Title field to 125 characters. 
• Updated the available font list for the HTML Generator. 
• You can now include course code and title in the Email Subject of Registration Confirmations. 
• The HTML Generator is now available when sending quick emails to a course. 
• Fixed a few bugs and routines.

Student Manager provides shortcuts to perform many tasks using the keyboard.

For a list of basic shortcuts, press the F1 key.

Many shortcuts show on the Menu. For example, the Module > Course menu:

We also offer a Keyboard Shortcut Template (PDF file) you can print and distribute to staff. The template includes the basic Keyboard shortcuts.

We've added a Contract Training Invoice to our Report Templates web page.

The invoice is meant to be used with the Billing Record option, and will show the registrants on the invoice.
