Introduction to Bees and Beekeeping will focus on the principles of beekeeping. Learn the history of beekeeping, honeybee biology, plant and pollinator relationships, and essential equipment & requirements. By the end of this class, you will be ready to work your own colony the first year and be able to help experienced beekeepers with their hives.

Beaver Creek Lodge

The Beaver Creek Lodge is a quaint all suite hotel in the Vail Valley at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. Step into the gracious and intimate atmosphere of a spacious two-room suite, great for relaxing or working. Each of the suites feature a separate living room equipped with a fireplace, sofa sleeper, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, humidifier, two televisions, a VCR, data port telephones with voice mail, and a separate bedroom. Full Services and amenities include sport shop, swimming pool, hot tubs, restaurants and fitness center. A special room rate of $95.00, single or double occupancy is available for conference attendees for May 17-21, 2004.
